North Carolina is home to beautiful climbing. This state has a variety of climbing options from great single pitch climbing to long multipitch routes. Most of the rock is high quality Granite or Gneiss, in some wild and beautiful places. There are places to climb throughout the western part of the state, including Linville, Looking Glass area, Rumbling Bald, Crowder's mountain.
