AMI guides
are highly experienced climbers. We have 106
years of climbing experience climbing between
the guides of AMI. This experience is varied and
many of the guides have climbed extensively out
west, even over seas. This experience is not limited
to rock, but also includes ice climbing and alpine.
Beyond the climbing experience, AMI guides are highly
experienced instructors. Patrick Weaver and Ed Maggart
have been professional instructors for most of their
professional career and have MA degrees
in Adventure Education. Matt and Patrick
have degrees in outdoor management
with extensive experience instructing in institutional
or Outward Bound experiences. This experience can
work for you, Ultimately, climbing with guides having
more experience and who are better instructors,
will lead you to a more satisfying experience. When
you learn you can participate; participation lead
to satisfying experiences.
